what I treat/PCOS

PCOS support built around your version of PCOS

PCOS looks different in every woman who has it. Some cycles disappear, some skin erupts, some women fight their weight and energy while their results get called borderline. The label is one thing; the drivers underneath it are where the actual work happens.

If I don’t think naturopathy is your best next step, I’ll tell you on the call and point you somewhere better.

Signs this is your picture

  • Irregular, long or missing cycles
  • Jawline acne or oily skin
  • Excess hair growth, or scalp hair thinning
  • Sugar cravings and energy crashes
  • Difficulty with weight despite genuine effort
  • A PCOS or ‘borderline PCOS’ diagnosis with no clear plan

what I look for

Which PCOS is yours

The first job is working out which PCOS picture is yours, because insulin-driven, androgen-driven, inflammatory and post-pill presentations each need different treatment. I look at your cycle history, blood sugar and insulin markers, androgens, and the results you’ve already collected, and I map what’s actually driving your symptoms before anything is prescribed.

how I treat it

Long-game treatment

Depending on your drivers, treatment may include herbal medicine for cycle regulation and androgen balance, nutrients with genuine PCOS evidence behind them, and food and movement changes built for insulin resistance without slipping into restriction. PCOS is long-game work, and the plan evolves with your cycle as it responds. Fertility support, when it’s wanted, builds naturally on the same foundations.

Frequently asked questions

Can naturopathy help with PCOS?

Naturopathic care supports PCOS by identifying which drivers are active for you, commonly insulin resistance, androgen excess and inflammation, then treating those with herbal medicine, targeted nutrients and dietary change. It works alongside your GP or specialist, including if you’re using medication like metformin.

I have PCOS and want to fall pregnant. Can you help?

Preconception support is a natural extension of PCOS treatment, because the same drivers that disrupt cycles also affect ovulation. I work on cycle regularity and egg-health foundations in the months before you start trying, always alongside your GP or fertility specialist.

Do I need blood tests for PCOS treatment?

Usually yes, and you may already have most of them. I review any existing results first, then only organise what’s missing and genuinely useful, which often includes fasting insulin, androgens and a full thyroid panel.
