what I treat/endometriosis

Endometriosis support for the whole picture, not just the pain

Endo is so much more than bad periods. It’s the bloating that earns it the name endo belly, the fatigue, the pain that shows up outside your bleed, and the years most women spend being told it’s normal. My job is supporting your body around all of it, alongside your medical team.

If I don’t think naturopathy is your best next step, I’ll tell you on the call and point you somewhere better.

Signs this is your picture

  • Period pain that interferes with work, sleep or life
  • Pain at ovulation, with sex, or through the month
  • Bloating that builds through the day
  • Fatigue that rest doesn’t fix
  • Bowel symptoms that flare with your cycle
  • Diagnosed or suspected endometriosis

what I look for

The terrain, not just the lesions

Endometriosis is an inflammatory condition, so my attention goes to the systems that feed or calm that inflammation: the gut and its microbiome, histamine load, stress physiology and the nervous system, and the hormonal environment your cycle runs in. Surgery and medical management deal with the lesions; this work is about the terrain they grow in.

how I treat it

Supportive care that adds up

Support may include anti-inflammatory herbal medicine, nutrients with endometriosis-specific research behind them, and gut and food work aimed at the endo-belly side of the picture, built realistically so life stays liveable. I’m clear about what naturopathy can and can’t do here: this is supportive care alongside your gynaecologist, and quality of life is the measure that matters.

Frequently asked questions

Can naturopathy treat endometriosis?

Naturopathy doesn’t remove endometriosis lesions, and I’m upfront about that. What it can do is support the inflammation, gut symptoms, pain experience and energy around the condition, working alongside your gynaecologist, GP and any surgical or hormonal management you choose.

Can you help with endo belly?

The bloating pattern common in endometriosis usually has gut involvement, and it responds best when the microbiome, food triggers and the inflammatory load are worked on together. That gut work is a core part of how I support endometriosis.

I’m on hormonal treatment for endo. Can I still see you?

Yes. Naturopathic support runs alongside hormonal management and surgery, never instead of them. With your consent I’ll communicate with your medical team so your care stays joined up.
